HRH AERHigh-efficiency air-to-air heat recovery ventilation unit
Quiet, efficient and ideal for non-residential buildings.

A complete solution for schools, offices and public buildings: high-efficiency heat recovery, advanced filtration and low-consumption EC fans. Stable performance, integrated free-cooling and maximum energy savings.
High-efficiency heat recovery
The aluminium counterflow heat exchanger exceeds the requirements of EU Regulation 1253/2014, achieving recovery efficiencies above 80% in real-world conditions and up to 86.5% in the smaller sizes.
Motorised bypass for free-cooling
All versions include a motorised bypass system that automatically activates free-cooling when outdoor air temperature is favourable, reducing energy consumption and ensuring optimal comfort.
25 mm insulated double-skin panels
The structure is made of double-skin panels with:
- external pre-painted steel,
- internal galvanized steel,
- intermediate mineral wool insulation 25 mm (class A2-s1,d0).
This configuration ensures high rigidity, excellent thermal-acoustic insulation and vibration reduction.
EC fans with backward-curved impellers
High-efficiency EC motor fans with backward-curved blades ensure:
- specific consumption far below regulatory limits,
- 0–10 V control,
- low noise levels (53 to 64 dB(A) at 1 m).
All data certified in the technical table.
Integrated electronic control
The onboard electrical panel manages:
- ventilation and temperature,
- filter monitoring,
- weekly scheduling,
- anti-frost and defrost cycles,
- fire alarm,
- Modbus interface for BMS supervision.
Wide airflow range
Six sizes, available in horizontal and vertical versions, cover airflows from 450 to 3800 m³/h.
Size 50 reaches up to 4500 m³/h.
HRH AER maintains optimal indoor conditions all year round thanks to high-efficiency recovery, automatic free-cooling and modulating ventilation. Stable temperature, continuous air renewal and reduced consumption with consistent comfort.
Summer
Free-cooling, combined with low filter pressure drops, ensures major energy savings when outdoor air is cooler.
Winter
The counterflow heat exchanger provides supply temperatures of 15–16°C even with very cold outdoor air.
Mid-season
Modulating EC fan control maintains constant airflow and pressure with minimized energy use.
