I.A.Q. : indoor air quality

FILTRASANHygienic filter media for fan coils and air-handling units

Reduces particles and microbial load without releasing harmful substances.

Why choose FiltraSan

The advanced filtering solution that protects fan coils and air renewal units, improving hygiene and indoor air quality. Stable treatment, certified materials and maximum safety for the installed environment.

Integrated hygienic function

FiltraSan™ uses a special technology based on TECNICA™ + Sanitized® additives, which prevent microorganisms from proliferating on the filter surface, keeping the system cleaner over time.

No release of harmful substances

The hygienic treatment is incorporated into the fiber and does not release chemical compounds into the air, ensuring a safe environment even during continuous operation.

Reduction of fine particles

Repeated air passage through FiltraSan™ significantly reduces fine particles and impurities, contributing to improved indoor air quality.

Available in multiple thicknesses

The filter is available in various thicknesses (3–6 mm, 15 mm, 20 mm), compatible with several Aertesi fan-coil models and air-handling units.

Compliant with WHO standards

Thanks to microbial load reduction and ISO 16890 certified filtration, FiltraSan™ meets the air quality requirements recommended by the World Health Organization.

Comfort in every season

FiltraSan contributes to indoor comfort throughout the year by continuously improving the quality of the air treated by fan coils and air handling units. Its stable, certified hygienic filtration reduces particulate matter and microbial load in every season, without affecting airflow rates, energy consumption, or system performance.

Summer

During cooling operation, FiltraSan limits the buildup of dust and microorganisms on the filter and on the internal surfaces of the terminal unit, improving the quality of the supplied air and supporting healthier comfort even under intensive operating conditions.

Winter

In heating mode, continuous hygienic filtration reduces the circulation of particles and biological contaminants typically found in enclosed environments, helping to maintain cleaner and more stable indoor air during prolonged fan coil operation.

Mid-seasons

During periods of reduced load or intermittent operation, FiltraSan keeps the hygienic function active on the airflow, preventing microbial proliferation on the filter surfaces and ensuring continuous air quality without the need for additional interventions or energy consumption.
